j: This is the sweet face of the dog who made a break for it while I was in Dublin Friday afternoon. I got a call that someone several streets away from our house had found her. I raced home (and by raced I mean crawled in maddeningly slow Friday commute traffic). I screeched dramatically into the driveway, jumped out, closed the open gate and checked to make sure Ash was still there, then sped off to rescue the family that had been kind enough to rescue Lexi. And that’s when my dentist called to find out why I wasn’t in his chair. In Dublin.
